Moving Expenses (Read that somewhere)
I think I read some where that Canadian Citizen can not deduct moving expenses to USA if they elect to be treated as CAN Resident this Tax year while reporting US income as world income minus paid US tax, am I correct?

You cannot claim expenses for the move on your Cdn return
If you are a contractor in US, but living in Canada, you MUST declare your income in canada. You may ALSO have to in US depending on work conditions.

After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

Thanks, But I still asking why I can't, please do you have reference to that.
My other Question: I know that I have to report my income but if I have business Number in Canada, can I report that as part of my business income?

What's "contractor W2"? Also, do you have a corporation, or are you a proprietorship? Both can have a BN.
Did you receive a W2 for US employment income, or do you mean you worked as a contractor and received a 1099?
Please be specific.
If you received a W-2, then it's employment income on both countries' tax returns, with Canada giving you a foreign tax credit.
If you received contracting income, then it can be included on your beusiness statement, personal or corporate.
