Canadian on a H1B in USA registering Canadian Corporation

Hello,

I am currently on a TN1 moving to an H1B and working in the USA.

I would like to register a corporation in Canada, but part of the requirement is that the board be 25% residents of Canada. I am the only one on the board, and I'm not sure if I'm a resident for this purpose.

Any pointers?

JGCA wil proabably commetn, but given your residence in US, forming a Cdn corporation would not be wise, and it cannot be considered a Canadian controlled corp.
