No REAL option to transfer credit history from CAN to US

TD Cross border credit card takes month to process.
RBC told me that they only give them US credit card based on credit history in Canada to help build local US credit history on SSN.

Is this statement true or its different with TD and RBC ? I was hoping to transfer my credit hisotry from canada to us.

Will getting a Equifax Canada credit report/score work in US in any way?

Why bother. You can always get a mortgage/car/etc buy dealing with a PERSON. The bank which cashes your paycheck will give you a credit card.

Pay your bills, and you will have access to credit withing 2 months.

The firm that brought you down to US should be helping you with all sorts of relo services including a real credit card, mortgae, realtor, etc. Mine did.
