Is "Currency Realized Gain" taxable income?

Post by chessflying »

My broker's form lists "Currency Realized Gain" with value 2k. It's not automatically loaded in TurboTax.
Need I manually report it as taxable income?

What do you take the meaning of "currency realized gain" to be?
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
