Is RRSP required to report in Form 8938?

Is RRSP required to report in Form 8938?

I search in web, many links say RRSP need file form 8938 and FBAR.
In IRS page, it said "Foreign financial account for which you have signature authority" / "no, unless you otherwise have an interest in the account as described before".
I understand RRSP is account with signature authority.

Yes, to both. The 8938 form has quite a higher threshold of total value, but if you exceed that, RRSP has to be included.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
