I am filing US Tax. I moved to the US in Nov but lived only in temp housing until the end of the year.
However, I have to report the US income while filing T1. The question is while filing ( I don't know which one to file 1040 or 1040NR or dual income ) the US return, do I have to report my RRSP income?

If you file 1040, yes you have to repoert RRSP income (and existence).
If you file 1040NR, then only US income is reported. But then all income is also reported in canada as a resident

After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
