Has anyone with a Coverdell ESA tried to use the funds for "qualified expenses" overseas?

I'm looking at use for private tutor and potentially a private school (pre-college). It seems that it would be a qualified expense (down to the school uniform) but I haven't been able to find anyone who's actually done this.

The rules for primary and secondary level expenses are not as strict as for post-secondary. All you would need to do is document your expense.

So your expenses should be eligible.

For post-secondary schools, the foreign school must participate in FAFSA (the school would know this)
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
