Hiatus for last-minute tax-filers

As is my custom, I will curtail my responses on this site for the next month or so.

I find, at this time, the questions become very mechanical in nature (ie. which box do I tick, why is turbotax giving me this, etc), and the mood of many posters gets a little frantic because they have woke up late to their situation. Most issues have been covered suffiently at this point.

Since this has little to do with cross-border tax issues, and almost nothing to do with tax PLANNING, which is my interest. I suggest paying for an accountant to probably do it wrong at this point.

I will of course monitor for any true cross-border issues.

After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
