TN with two jobs !!!

I am working under TN in US, and have an opportunity to work as part time with another company in my free time at the same time and totaly different from engineering,

is it possible? how does it work when I want to pay taxes?

Like any other job you would have, you will either be paid by W-2 or, more likely, by 1099. W-2 is pretty straight forward, 1099 means you are self-employed and need to pay SE tax.

Your problem however, is that you absolutely need a 2nd TN to work at this job and keep your first one.

Unless this 2nd job is a TN-category job, and that your eductation and/or experience qulaify you for a TN in that job, you are not authorized to work.

So a 'totally different' job, unless you have another non-engineering professional degee, is out of the question.

What category of TN would a IT Project Manager fall under?......Is it a hassle to renew the TN every time by mail or in person?
