Do you staple income tax forms (1040)? Do you staple check?

Post by ususer »

Do you staple US income tax forms (1040) for NY state and NJ state?
Do you staple attached check (to the first page of your income tax for example)?

Do you need to send any of the bank's forms (like T5 in Canada), donation receipts, etc. with your US income tax?

Do you use certified or regular mail to send income tax?

Thank you!

Read your instructions. You only send what they ask, nothing else.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

Usually no staples (because they just have to remove them to spearate). But read the instructions!
