I have a quick question - If you complete the landing formality at the port of entry and return to the US, do you have to pay taxes in Canada for your income earned in the US?
Thanks

You do realize there is a tax forum linked with this site?
But, quickly, unless you actually LIVE in canada, you are not taxable ofn your non-Cdn income.

After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
This question has probably been answered a ton of times but here goes. I am a Canadian citizen who plans on residing in the U.S. for the next year for work. Do I have to pay Canadian income tax in addition to my US taxes?? thanks in advance.nelsona wrote:
