L2 Dependent Visa working for a Canadian company from US

Hello,

I know that as long as I obtain an EAD once my L2 visa has been activated I can work remotely for my Canadian company while living in the US. My Cdn company has no ties to the US.

What are the rules for working remotely for my Canadian company in the US while I wait for my EAD?

Generally, if there is no presence in US, and the CdnCo is not benefiting from your physical preswnce in US, you can work without any US authrization. You will rpeort your income to US and Canada of course.
