Green Card expense deductible?

I pay all expense for GC (Legal fee, application fee, medical exam...), can I put them in line 24 on 1040, which is related to certain business expense paid by employee? Thank you!!!

Not unless you fall under one of the thrre categories of workers mentioned specifically on that line.

Otherwise, the expenses are allowable if incurred in 2005 and would be included on Line 20 of schedule A, if you itemize, and will be reduced by 2% of your gross income.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
