You are a Cdn resident performing work in Canada. The nationality of the employer doesn't matter in terms of YOUR taxation. Your foreign employer has compliance issues, that may or may not be alleviated by treaty of regulation, but you do not.

But you chose to live in Canada, and your firm accepts this, so both of you need to abide by CRA rules.

The bottom line comes to where my employment income is deducted as an expense.

have your employer look into this matter, since they are the ones that need to be compliant with reg 102, which requires Cdn payroll.
