I work for a canadian oil company, does this exclude me from the FTC. Confused by the wording as it states that "A portion of taxes on combined foreign oil and gas income" does not count for the credit.

Don't over think these things. You have WAGES, not oil and gas income.

Less reading and more plugging in numbers into software.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
