I have been in the U.S. (I am a Canadian citizen) on a TN-status since August. (I'm a university teacher.)
My accountant told me I am not supposed to be paying Social Security or Medicare, but my HR office disagrees.
Who's correct?
Your HR. You are working as an employee in US. Drop-kick your accountant he is clueless.
