Hi,

I am new to this forum. I have a few questions, I hope either Serbinski or other members of this forum can help me answer.

1. Does Serbinski only assist with tax questions - or can they also help create an US LLC ?

2. I realize this next question should probably be discussed more in details with Serbinski or another CPA, but the answer to this question will determine whether I should continue booking such an initial meeting or not. Here is the question: I am about to create a new LLC based company with my self as the only member and employee in California where I live. I plan to be a Implementation Consultant helping financial companies implement their systems. Some of these clients are located in Canada, which mean I will have to travel between California and Canada every week. (I can be flexible around the 183 day limit if that has anything to say). I estimate my company to generate between USD 300k-400k per year. I plan to use the S-Corp tax rules even though it is a LLC (Because I have heard they are being taxed less - but this is what I will have to talk more about with a CPA about). But here is my question - if it can be answered this easily: Does it make sense to report my taxes in my LLC as a S-CORP if most of the income is generated in Canada? I mean, will I get the same low taxed benefits with Canadian generated income as I would if the income was generated in USA?

Hope someone can help even though I fear the answer would be: "Talk to a CPA, since it is not that simple to answer based on the information you have provided"
