After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

now i know what Iwas talking about....

say you live in US and opt in to PAID medicare part A. Once you do that, you cannot opt out of Part A without losing SS entirely, so if you subsequently move back to Canada (or anywhere else) you are stuch paying for medicare without any benefit.
