SURVEY: When do you submit your forms 3520 and 3520-A?

Post by zad888 »

Just wondering what everyone does when submitting these forms.

1) Do you mail them together [in separate envelopes] by March 15?
2) Or do you mail form 3520-A first and then mail form 3520 at the same time as your form 1040?
3) Others?

For me, it's: #2

I'll bite .. this year, I will likely send the 3520 and 3520-A for each trust together to Ogden, and then put all of the separate envelopes in a bigger ExpressPost envelope. I'm basically done with it, so I want them out of my sight as soon as I am confident they are OK. Probalby mid-February is my delivery date.
Not a professional opinion.

I just mailed both 3520A and 3520 at the same time. I only have one TFSA, and I put both 3520A and 3520 in the same envelope.
