Defined Benefit Plans & FBAR

Post by Mach7 »

Does a company (Canadian) Defined Benefit Plan (not contribution) have to be reported on FBAR?

I am taking a poll to see how many yes and no answers i get.

I have personally taked to 4 accountants so far and I am 2 for 2. (Albiet only 1 had a PTIN#).

You do not control this account. So no.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
