Business delivering products to the US
If a business (not incorporated) produces an item in BC, and delivers this item to the US, are they responsible for paying personal tax in the US? They take all orders over the phone, and don't have a permanent establishment in the US, they only deliver. They do however have a US postal box.
not that i want to argue with you knowing that you are an expert on tax issue.
the headling of this discussion "Business delivering products to the US", if it were produced in Canada and delivered inside Canada, the author would not ask a question.
So it is a cross border issue, and naturally, i thought duty would be related to the top, maybe not really to his question.
Other related to this topic would be sales tax, would the seller be supposed to collect sales tax (some states do collect sales tax)

I suppose they would have sales tax issues too when they stop for a coffee at the diner across from the Post office.

After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
