I'm a US citizen residing in USA. I have done some temporary work (less than 183 days) in Canada. I stayed there for about 3 months. I was paid by the Canadian company directly to my single-member LLC.
What type of taxes do I need to pay in Canada?
My theory is that I only need to file a NR Individual return.
Please help!
Thanks!

No taxes are due in Canada, since by treaty you did not have a permanent establishment in canada.
You would only need to file in canada to get any taxes withheld from your payments refunded to you.
Otherwise you do not need to file.

After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

Thanks so much for your reply. Will the fact that I was doing this work physically in Canada alter the answer?
