I was at H&R block tonight thinking that they would have someone knowledgable in US/Canada taxes, but no such luck. I have a few different types of income to claim: employment income, unemployment benefits, and investment income from RRSP's that I cashed in. What forms are required to be filled in?
Also one of my RRSP's was handled incorrectly. They processed it as me still being a resident (even though I notified them that I was not) and I got a T4A rather than an NR4. Will this be an issue with my US taxes?
Thank you for your help.
