tax in US

Post by danny »

Hi

If I am planning to work on TN in the US, does that mean I have to do the same paperwork in terms of filing as a permanent resident or US citizen ? I mean when it comes to the FBAR form or something like that.

If you become tax resident of US (by being present for more than ceetain number of days) then yes you will have to FBAR.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

Wow. called names one day, and compared against Wikipedia the next.

I'm not getting much love, folks. Time to hang it up.
