temporary resident left canada for good at 1st jjuly

temporary resident(working permit) in quebec
working permit was till 31/Oct/2010.

I left Canada at 1st july 2010 starting to work in US as temporary resident there.

what is the procedure i should follow regarding filling tax returns for 2010
(to US i'll fill from 1st july ) regarding Canada tax authorities
send NR-73 to Revenue Canada? what should i do with Revenue quebec?
will appreciate your advise

You do not send NR-73 unless asked by CRA.

For both CRA and MRQ, you will submit a regular return, however you will put a departure date. See the Emigrants guide form CRA, there are special rules to follow. You will not have to include US income earned after yyouy left canada.

For US, you will haveve severla choices on how to file, you will pick the one that yields least tax. Usually that is a ful year 1040, with exemption of your Cdn wages.
