Let me clarify.. This firm has 4 employees. Its not likely to be set up properly. I am their only CAD employee. CRA has not asked me to pay quarterly based on last years taxes - I don't make enough for them to care I guess..

How do I check on whether I am accumulating CP / EI eligibility?

You are only accumulating EI eligibility if both you and the firm are paying EI premiums of course.

Ssame for CPP< although, you have the option of paying both ends of that.

You won't be eligible for US UI because you aren't working in US.

You really need to be paid as a Cdn employee, or as a Cdn contractor.

You are the one that is concerned with CPP and EI, not CRA and apparently not your client. If you are that concerned, tell your client to do the right thing: pay you as a contractor or make you an employee.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
