I “landed” as a PR on Feb 3, 2020 however, I am still currently working for a US company until the end of July. My spouse lives in Canada so I have “residential ties” to Canada, however, I will be in the US living there for more than 183 days.
Do I need to file taxes to CRA for income earned in the USA for 2020?
Thanks for the read/help.

You are non-resident. It has nothing to do with 183 days, you will not be resident until you move to Canada. On that day you will be resident.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

How does Canada determine when I “move” ?

You will tell them (on your 2020 tax return), it will be when you no longer live in the US: you moving day, in other words.
