Hello Nelsona,
I took up job in US from Dec 08 and full 2009 on TN visa. While in Canada, my employer made contribution in 2008 had to be moved within the plan since I left the employment. With this move within the plan, RRSP provider sent me 2009 contribution slip. I have no Canadian employment income in 2009. Only rental income.
What can I do with RRSP contribution made? I cannot use till I move to Canada which may or may not be a possibility in future.
Can I send RRSP slip to CRA with only 216 return
a) To update my RRSP unused portion.
b) Is it possible to make use of unused RRSP to offset net income on 216 to save on 22.2 % tax on net rental income?
RRSP contributions made while full year non resident

You can use RRSP on 216 return.
But, if you eventually wish to return to Canada, I would keep until then and use against a much higher marginal rate.
Remember that the tax you save in canada will simply be paid to US instead.

Hello Nelsona,
Thanks.
I checked RRSP slip. For some reason, it shows for period Mar to Dec 09 which is not useful for 2008 Departure T1 Adj.
How do inform to CRA to amend this RRSP record for unused portion?
I appreciate your comment regarding tax paid to one country or the other which make me save RRSP unused portion for later in case I decide to return to Canada.
Thanks.

there is nothing to amend. submit a schedlue 7 with your 216 return for 2009, and decide if you want to take the deduction or not.
