TD F 90-22.1

Post by andcormon »

Hi Nelson,

The pdf TDF 90-22.1 form that the IRS has on their website says, "do not use this form after December 2008".

We're in 2010, completing that form for the 2009 tax year. Did the IRS just forget to update the note? Should I use that form as it is?

I still have time to complete this form, but I'd like to get it done and out sooner rather than later.

Thanks very much.

Please read more carefully.

Re-read what the note says, and then complete form.

You should be using software to prepare your returns, which usually includes TD form. This will avoid little mistakes.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

I just did ... and it seems that maybe my eyes didn't read the entire line.

Thanks very much. Sorry for wasting your time.
