2009 RRSP

When I log in to CRA website to look at my 2009 RRSP amounts, I see two items

1) 2009 RRSP deduction limit- Say amount X

2) Unused RRSP contributions available to deduct for 2009- Say amount Y

Question- Is my allowed max RRSP equal to X plus Y or amount X includes amount Y

Your clarification will be helpful.

X includes Y.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
