Hi!
I'm a CDN living in the US working on a TN visa. My son and daughter are here with me on their TD visa. They don't have a SSN number so can I still claim them as dependents? Turbotax keeps asking me for their SSN numbers.

They will get ITINs when you file 1040 along with W-7 requesting ITIN. ou iclude them on your 1040, write pending for number.

You won't be able to e-file.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
