I just got done doing my US taxes, i live in Canada. Does the IRS need the Actual T4 form or can i make a photocopy?

IRS doesn't want either.

If you file a paper return with the IRS, what the ywant is their own receipts (W-2, 1099).
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

I live in Canada as a permanent resident so i don't get those receipts anymore.

Im filing a paper return of course. So basically they don't need any proof of my income is what your saying? Just send in my 1040 and 2555 and thats it?
