My Canadian company owns a rental property in the US. I am currently not making money due to repairs in the unit but I am guessing that I still need to file taxes. Which form/forms do I need to fill out? It is my first year so I need help,

Hi,

I own a Canadian Corporation and my company purchased two rental properties in Florida. My understanding from IRS web site is that I need to get a tax ID for my Canadian Corporation. Do I get an EIN or another form of tax ID?
