Well, that is better news then the 183 day rule. I guess that is the route I will go and if I stay over 183 days, I will let my accountant deal with all the paper work for me to pay what I owe to Canada. Is there any other hurdles that you may know of going the subcontractor route? I read other info...

183 day rule

Concerning working in Canada with this 183 day rule. The way I read the convention is that the 183 days is aggregate month to month; so if you go in say mid august this year it carries over into the next year. Which year would you be responsible for paying taxes in this year or next year? The other ...
