Im a Canadian that work in the US for a Us company under a H1-B. I spend around 250 days per year in the US and return to Canada every month or so. I have a house, car, bank account etc...in Canada.
1. What type of 1040 should i use ?
2. What document(s) from my us accountant my canadian accountant will need to prepare my Cdn tax return?
3. Should i get any return from US for FICA paid?
4. If i paid 30% tax in US, made 100 000$us, how much tax (approx) will i have to pay in Canada?
You don't get fica back regardless of how you file.
You, as Cdn residnt can choose how you file in US.
