Required to File a T2?

Post by bob16325 » Thu Jul 18, 2019 8:05 am

I am a US citizen with a US S-CORP that has been doing business in Canada, off and on, for the last 30 years. I'll simplify my question by overgeneralizing.

I am an S-CORP, and have never filed any Canadian Tax Return T2. I have worked with other S-CORPs that have provided similar services, and they have never filed T2's either.

I have recently been contacted by Canadian Tax folks who want me to file T2s for 2015 and 2016.

The T2 form looks too complicated for me to fill-in (I'm a one person company).

What would happen to me if I refuse to fill-in these forms?
