Where to enter Canadian lump sum pension payment?

Post by erfan1985 »

I got a Canadian lump sum payment this year. I am wondering where I should enter this for IRS?
For now I entered it in "Foreign Employer Compensation/Pension (not reported on W-2/1099-R) - FEC", which was under "Pensions, Annuities and IRA Distributions" in my tax software. Does it look good?

Sure. It should end up on the pension line of 1040
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
