You do realize there are still 5 big banks you can deal with in Canada? Plus other smaller, newer ones?

Yes. Scotiabank, my own bank, is next on the list. This RBC one was supposedly a referral by a Canadian real estate agent who comes down here to Arizona (on E status I guess) to buy, fix and sell foreclosed properties. I met him here.

Very interesting question. I have a similar situation and I want to find a condo in Toronto.
