TN Visa - Job Hour Requirements

Post by penjoy777 »

My wife and I are Canadian citizens residing in United States. I am on a H1 visa and she is on H4. She has been offered a job as a RN and we plan to appear at the border for her TN visa.
This would be her first TN visa. Is there a requirement that the job has to be a full time job i.e. 40 hours/week?
The reason I ask is because the employer gave an employment letter which shows her job hours as 32 hours/week as she will be working in shifts.
Should we ask the employer to change the hours and use the wording in the letter as "full-time" instead?
Does the first TN issued have to be for a full time job?
