Job Change Same Contract Firm new group at assigned company

Post by Webtiger »

Hi;
With all the changes in the past years with Immigration I'm not sure of the correct route in my case.
Have TN for a contract/job shop changing jobs at assignment - same pay, job description just a different group at the host company.
There's about a 10 day no work period between contracts so do I:
File for B2 then cancel it and get a new TN at border?
Not file for B2 stay on same TN? Job is same pay is same just new group at host company.
Not file for B2 go to border get new TN?

Thanks,
Webtiger

If the Tn letter you had would still fit this job, then the TN is still valid.
nelsona non grata. Non pro. Please Search previous posts, no situation is unique as you might think. Happy Browsing :D

Thanks for the quick response Nelsona! Yes all the details of this position match the original TN letter. I just want to make certain I don't leave myself open for any bar to entry later on.

Thanks,
