Bringing truck made in the usa, back into the usa.

Post by Crassadon »

Hello,

My husband is a citizen of the usa, and is planning on returning to the usa. He's going to drive the truck we bought here in Canada. The person we bought the truck from, originally bought the truck in the usa, and had the truck imported into Canada. We're bringing the truck down to the usa, and are planning to bring it back up to Canada next year.

What papers are needed to bring the truck across the border? The truck was originally manufactured and sold in the usa.

You'll need a bill of sale and a title in your name to bring the vehicle into the US. It also helps to have proof of ownership of the vehicle. That can be shown by the original purchase receipt for the vehicle or a previous registration for the vehicle. If you're getting a new title, you'll need to ensure that there is no lien on the vehicle. You can have it checked with the lien holder if needed. If there is an outstanding lien, it will need to be paid off first before a new title can be issued. This was all I did when I got a truck from https://www.truckexporter.co.uk/ and brought it to the USA.

Just like any other goal, an aspiring trucker has to strive hard in order to enter the trucking industry.https://www.matrixexp.com/ Even people who have acquired years of experience in truck driving jobs are required to present some requirements with regards to their experience in handling trucks. This is the part where many applicants fail especially the new entry truck drivers.
