I-485 - Finger Printing for Canadian Citizens

Post by Jaspal »

Adjustment of Status I-485, requires finger printing (FP) soon after filing. Is it required for all citizens, including Canadian citizens, or Canadians are exempted, just like they are exempted from FP as visitors to the US.

All AOS filers get fingerprinting. Those whose AOS process drags on get the 'privilege' of having them a 2nd, 3rd, or even forth time, as these 'expire' every 15 months.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
