Working remotely in the US for a Canadian company

Hi,
I'm working actually for a company in Canada which has some offices in the US too, I have a L1b visa.
I would like to work remotely in the US (from my house in Florida) less than 6 months a year for that company but still being paid in Canada with Canadians taxes ...
Is it possible and legal with L1 visa ?
Do I have to pay tax in the US or make IRS declarations ?
Will they accept that at my border crossings ?

Just to clatify, I'm working actually in Canada and want to spend maybe 5 months in the US and more than 6 months in Canada.
