Our daughter is a dual citizen of Canada and the USA. She returned to Canada on September 1st 2023 with a brand new car but crossed the border as a visitor. So she wasn't taxed at the border.
Regarding her driver's license, she recently received it.
But we're not sure when her car registration is necessary in BC. Does anyone know these rules about how long you can drive with a BC license before registration there?
Or, if she will need to pay an import tax on her car and when?
