where to take photos for canadian citizenship certificate

Post by wela_l » Sat Apr 29, 2006 2:09 am

I live in San Diego California. I need to take photos for my certificate of canadian citizenship. I visited many placed and they all told me they don't take those kind of pictures (with white signature strip on the bottom). Does anyone know where I can get it done? Thanks

You have to go to a photographer, and sit for a digital photo.

You simply can't rely of the places that do passport headshots. You have to get someone who will take a digital picture and then mask and size it to the CIC specs.

It may cost a little more than $9.99, but it won't be rejected.
