I currently work in IT but am wanting to move from the UK to Canada.

I was debaiting doing a Plastering and Joinery course b4 i leave (may take about 4 years to do) as i want to improve my chances of getting work in Canada? I have read all the gumpf in books and on a few employment sites but can anyone tell me are these skills really desired in Canada?

Thanks
