Question on Taxes

Post by foreigner »

Hi,

I have a quick question - If you complete the landing formality at the port of entry and return to the US, do you have to pay taxes in Canada for your income earned in the US?

Thanks

You do realize there is a tax forum linked with this site?

But, quickly, unless you actually LIVE in canada, you are not taxable ofn your non-Cdn income.
nelsona non grata. Non pro. Please Search previous posts, no situation is unique as you might think. Happy Browsing :D

This question has probably been answered a ton of times but here goes. I am a Canadian citizen who plans on residing in the U.S. for the next year for work. Do I have to pay Canadian income tax in addition to my US taxes?? thanks in advance.
