Will this US Citizen be considered a Canadian resident?

I'm one month into a year long contract. I am US citizen and my family lives in US. I stay in Candadian hotels weekdays and am home in US on weekends. Will I be considered a Canadian resident at some point in time?

Secondly, the company I work for is a US company. They plan to incorporate in Canada and pay me out of Canada. What are the implications?
