Hi,
Thank you so much Ron for your answer (marriage or not). That was what I suspected, but had not been told directly yet.
I have one other question. Born in California, I have a US passport/citizenship. Both of my parents were born in Ireland, and because of that, I also have an Irish passport. What is Canada's policy on multiple citizenship, and do I need to give up one of these in advance? Although I'd hate to do it, I would give up the Irish one.
Canada doesn't care. In fact, when/if you get Cdn citizenship, you can keep all 3.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
