I bought a share in an LLC that was formed in order to purchase 20 fee simple units in a condo building. I redeemed my share in the form of a condo unit. Was my real estate purchased the day I purchased a share in the LLC (100% was paid at this time), or the day the share was redeemed and title was transferred to me? I had possession of the condo and was responsible for condo fees and property taxes before title was transferred.
